A downloadable game for Windows

Lens Chroma is a game themed around aberrations for the "Acerola Jam 0" game jam.

You play as a human who is trapped in a room with a strange camera, which lets you see things that should not be there.

Platform your way through the world while evading the monsters that lurk around, and find the exit!

Game is now at version 1.2

Updated components which reduced the load on the game thread. The game runs smoother now.

Since the judging period is ending this day, I have packaged and re-uploaded the game as v1.1 which has the stage progression bug fixed.

Some minor optimizations were applied, so the game should run better now.

Also added a pdf which includes the game content, controls, and some tips.

Really cool design! I honestly think it looks pretty good compared to most 3D games in the jam (including mine) However there are some  things that could use improvement

1. I had really bad camera stutter. Now whether that is from lag or on purpose I cant tell but I know its really annoying

2.  I wish there was a soundtrack or at least sfx.

I liked it though and I cant understand why more people haven't tried it.  : )

The problem stated below is not fixed yet. (The github project will be updated when fixed.)

Linking Github for future access after issue has been fixed: https://github.com/RobertTsunemichi/LensChroma

  • Game stage 1 is playable
  • Game stage 2 is partially playable (player items, score, etc, gets reset on level entry. The camera item is reset, so the player cannot progress past this level to get back to stage 1)
